FAQs

Massage

General Questions

1. What should I expect during my massage appointment?
– You’ll begin with a short conversation about your goals, preferences, and any concerns. Then, you’ll undress to your comfort level, lie on the massage table under a sheet, and your therapist will begin your session. Your comfort is always the top priority.

2. Do I need to shower before coming in for a massage?
– It’s courteous and appreciated to arrive clean, but a shower is not required unless you’re particularly sweaty or dirty from physical activity.

3. Should I remove my underwear for the massage?
– That’s completely up to you. Our therapists are trained to work around whatever clothing you choose to leave on, and you’ll always be properly draped for privacy.

4. What if the pressure isn't deep enough—how should I communicate that?
– Just let us know! We encourage open communication. Therapists are happy to adjust pressure or techniques to make sure you get the most out of your session.

5. Is it okay to talk during the massage, or should I stay quiet?
– It’s your session—you can talk, ask questions, or stay silent. We’ll follow your lead.

6. I’m feeling sick today—should I still come to my appointment?
– Please stay home if you’re sick. Massage can make symptoms worse and may spread illness to your therapist and others.

7. Am I supposed to tip my massage therapist?
– Tipping is customary and appreciated if you’re happy with your service, generally 15–25%. But it’s never required.

8. What happens if I arrive late to my appointment?
– We’ll do our best to accommodate you, but your session may be shortened to avoid delaying the next client. Full payment is still expected.

9. How do I schedule an appointment?
– You can book online through our website, by phone, or in person. We recommend booking in advance to ensure availability.

10. Do you accept walk-ins or same-day appointments?
– Sometimes! Same-day appointments depend on availability, and walk-ins are welcome but not guaranteed. It’s best to call ahead.

11. Will I receive the full 60 minutes of massage when I book a one-hour session?
– Yes, your appointment includes the full time on the table. Intake and checkout are handled outside of your session time.

– It’s a natural physiological response and nothing to be embarrassed about. We’ll continue the session professionally and respectfully. Any further advance will not be tolerated and action will be taken to make sure the community knows of anyone trying to creep on our local massage therapists.
